AJ Greco of Las Vegas commissioned Cimtex Rods to turn a brand new Chrysler SRT8 into a hot rod supercar for debut at SEMA 2006. The car was purchased and sent directly to George Kook (Kooks Custom Headers) for him to build a stainless set of headers and full dual exhaust. From Kooks, it came to Cimtex Rods in Jarrell, TX, for the remainder of the work. Cimtex added a GS Motorsports intercooled supercharger system, custom Hogan manifold, StopTech brakes from Zeckhausen Racing, Moton shocks with remote reservoirs, custom 20" wheels, and repainted the car in two tone House of Kolor blue under the factory silver. Graphics were done by Total Kaos Design in Houston. Custom grill was built by Don Baker of Alumicraft Street Rod Grills.
Darrell and Tim (Cimtex) had me come in and do aluminum panels for the front, sides, and back of the engine compartment.
The car was selected to be displayed in the Chryler booth at SEMA - a big honor.
